As a web developer, I have experience developing dynamic web sites on a wide variety of platforms. Most of that programming experience involves developing in PHP on Linux-based Apache servers, using data from MySQL databases. From building basic dynamic web sites to custom building entire content management systems, I have the skills and experience necessary to build a custom web sites to meet the needs and specifications of the client quickly and efficiently.

Custom Solutions

From shopping carts to online catalogs, I can build custom sites, or add new capabilities to existing sites, from scratch. Most of this work involves creating software to collect, manipulate or display data to users.

Development for other Platforms

Many sites are built using common frameworks, such as Wordpress and Joomla, to allow faster development and implementation of the site. I have experience working with many of these frameworks, creating templates, addons and plugins to extend the basic functionality of the system.

Joomla: Joomla is an application framework built on the PHP and MySQL platforms. From designing templates to creating custom plugins and components, I have the ability to add custom content and functionality to any Joomla powered web site.

WordPress: Wordpress is one of the most popular blogging platforms in use. Highly customizeable, I can create custom layouts, templates and plugins for WordPress installations, as well as themes for hosted WordPress blogs.

Facebook Apps: Facebook has quickly grown into the most popular social site on the Internet. Part of the power of Facebook from a commercial standpoint is that developers can create social apps that users can integrate into their Facebook accounts. As a developer, I can create feature-rich Facebook social applications that can help my clients connect with their customers on a new level.

Riverside Rounders Developed as a sample site for a local organization, the Riverside Rounders site incorporates XHTML/CSS layout along with jQuery for form processing and Ajax.
Ticket Warehouse US TicketWarehouse.us is a unique, XML based web site. The entire site consists of simple XML files which are converted to HTML by Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and other browsers. This experimental site was developed to demonstrate how easily XML data can be ported. The site has been used by various other applications as a data source.
SiteSeals.org Still under development, SiteSeals is a comparison and review site covering the different security and network seals that various web sites use.
OpenWare Development Group Developed for a group of open source developers, this older site was developed to provide a primary point of contact between developers and users of the open source applications developed by ODG.
